Owner

Howdy? My name is Clifford Shane Corliss and I'd like to personally welcome you to Map My Monies. Yes, "monies" is a real word and it means sums of money. Each sum typically represents a different source, or may be mapped for different purposes. My goal is to help you map your monies, analyze your expenses, and plan your finances to navigate your financial future.

Over the past two decades, I've developed a passion for mapping processes and applying this knowledge to personal finances. I have always been interested in money management, so I pursued formal training and received my certification in Personal Financial Planning from AICPA. I wasn't always in the best financial situation and decided to make a change. So, I started reading, listening, and most importantly applying what I learned. A few years ago, I mapped my monies, analyzed my expenses, and planned my finances. This process led to a complete restructure of my approach to money, which sparked me to navigate my own financial future. Today, I constantly educate myself in this space by listening to podcasts, reading books, and having 1:1 discussions with real people about their finances. My passion is to work with others and share what I've learned, so that it may help you in mapping your financial journey and bypassing some of the detours I've had to experience.

I was born and raised in Katy, Texas and now reside in the Clear Lake area. I am a mechanical engineer by training at TAMU, a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and have been in the oil & gas industry for the past twenty years. As an engineer, I have an inherent nature to solve problems, with a focus on fully analyzing and understanding the problem itself. My world revolves around my wife Vivian, and our children Andrew and Isabella. I enjoy long walks, cruising with family and friends, and learning about money management and financial freedom.

My sole purpose of this landing page is to share my three-step process so that you can be informed and make the right next moves as you navigate your financial course. MapMyMonies services include the following steps. To learn more about the process, download the free MapMyMonies Brochure.
